2 Year Old Provision
Stay 'n' Play Pre-School is an Ofsted registered provision for all 2 year olds based in the children’s centre room at Shaw Cross Infant and Nursery School. This is an independent provision and is not run by our school.
Pre-school is open 9.15am – 12.15pm, Monday to Friday during term time.
Children have lots of opportunities to explore, play, and enjoy lots of different experiences. Outside play is also available which includes a large planting area. All the staff team have a good knowledge of the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage and plan a wide range of activities to promote children’s learning and development in every area.

You can claim a free place for your child if you receive one or more of the following:
- Income support
- Income based Jobseekers Allowance
- Income related employment and support allowance
- Support under part Vl of the immigration and Asylum Act 1999
- The guarantee element of State Pension Credit
- Child Tax Credit and/or Working Tax Credit and your annual household income is less than £16,191 (as assessed by HM Revenue & Customs)
Fee paying places are also available - £10.50 per day
