What is Pupil Premium?
Schools were allocated Pupil Premium funding for children from low-income families who were eligible for free school meals or had been looked after continuously for more than six months. Pupil Premium was extended to include children who had been eligible for free school meals at any point in the last six years. A premium has also been introduced for children whose parents are currently serving in the Armed Forces.
It is a requirement that schools report to parents how much Pupil Premium has been received, how it has been spent and the impact of the measures taken.
How much has the school received?
When spending the funds the school considers which actions will have the most impact on removing barriers to learning. In doing so we have drawn upon studies and research into good practice to maximise impact and used this as the basis for deploying funds.
